Dear ladies and gentlemen,

At Bosch Connected Industry, we are intensely working on the “Bosch Manufacturing & Logistics Platform” (BMLP). In this context, measures to consolidate the current MES portfolio are required in order to reduce costs for maintenance and support of parallel functionalities.

One of these measures is the replacement of the module Management View with the new module Global Production Overview with an improved and extended range of functions.

To switch to IAS Global Production Overview, customers do not need to operate their own installation of an IAS system but can use a multi-tenant capable installation on the Global Data Center (GDC).

This changeover has already been successfully implemented and is productive for the VM, EM and PS divisions (>100 plants, >2500 production lines).

In technical detail, this means the following for you:

Additional tenants can be created on the GDC for Bosch divisions that have not yet been converted. All data and access rights of the clients are separated from each other, the migration will be supported by experts from BCI and BD, without data loss and currently without additional license costs.

The support of MES Management View ends on 2026/01/01

The following advantages result from the use of IAS Global Production Overview:

• Data from production lines can still be synchronized with Nexeed MES and Non Nexeed lines, additionally with data from Nexeed IAS lines

• All configurations are now carried out via WEB interfaces

• Compatibility with GPR (Global Performance Reporting) and GPM (Global Performance Management)

• Improved diagnostic and statistical information

• Centralized operation on GDC by BD (optional)

• Production data can be sent to other systems via Data Publisher

Ablösung MES Management View durch IAS Global Production Overview

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

Im Geschäftsbereich Bosch Connected Industry arbeiten wir mit Hochdruck an der „Bosch Manufacturing & Logistics Platform“ (BMLP). Im Rahmen dieser Aktivitäten finden Konsolidierungsmaßnahmen im MES-Produktportfolio statt, um Kosten für Wartung und Support paralleler Funktionalitäten zu senken.

Eine dieser Maßnahmen ist die Ablösung des Produktes Management View durch das vorhandene Produkt Global Production Overview bei verbessertem und erweitertem Funktionsumfang.

Für den Umstieg auf IAS Global Production Overview müssen Kunden keine eigene Installation eines IAS-Systems betreiben sondern können eine mandantenfähige Installation auf dem Global Data Center (GDC) verwenden.

Diese Umstellung ist bereits für die Geschäftsbereiche VM, EM und PS erfolgreich durchgeführt und produktiv (>100 Werke, >2500 Produktionslinien).

Technisch bedeutet dies für sie folgendes:

Für noch nicht umgestellte Geschäftsbereiche können weitere Mandanten auf dem GDC angelegt werden. Alle Daten und Zugriffsrechte der Mandanten sind voneinander getrennt, die Migration wird durch Experten von BCI und BD durchgeführt, ohne Datenverlust und derzeit ohne zusätzliche Lizenzkosten.

Für Fragen zum Produkt können sie sich an Thomas Schäfter (BCI/PAP-PRM) wenden, für Fragen zu Nexeed MES an Max Daub (BCI/PAP-PRM).

Der Support von MES Management View endet mit dem 01.01.2026

Folgende Vorteile ergeben sich durch den Einsatz von IAS Global Production Overview:

• Es können weiterhin Daten von Produktionslinien mit Nexeed MES und Non Nexeed Linien synchronisiert werden, zusätzlich Daten von Nexeed IAS Linien

• Alle Konfigurationen erfolgen jetzt über WEB-Oberflächen

• Kompatibilität mit GPR (Global Performance Reporting) und GPM (Global Performance Management)

• Verbesserte Diagnose- und Statistik Informationen

• Zentraler Betrieb auf GDC durch BD (optional)

• Die Produktionsdaten können über Data Publisher an andere Systeme geschickt werden
